Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a professional RN and APRN in West Virginia.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required with ALS training at department discretion.
• APRN must have RNFA certification from an AORN approved program.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for Gyn/Onc patients in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Participates in daily rounds, consults, peri‑procedural evaluations; may include first assist in the operative suite.
• Performs comprehensive assessments and directs/discharges planning and follow‑ups as applicable.
• Coordinates testing and referrals with the clinical team; documents care plans and outcomes.
• Provides education and leadership to staff, residents, and students in obstetric/gynecologic oncology.
