Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years healthcare office experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Prior surgical scheduling experience is highly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintains provider schedules and coordinates surgeries efficiently.
• Obtains pre-surgical testing and coordinates pre-admission testing.
• Schedules procedures considering patient diagnosis and urgency.
• Obtains pre-authorizations from third-party payers for radiology and surgery.
• Captures and maintains patient information in the EPIC system.
• Coordinates information between physicians and external groups.
• Communicates discharge instructions and schedules follow-up appointments.
