Job summary

Watermelon Swim is seeking a child-focused leader to shape the future of our gymnastics program in Brooksville. This full-time role welcomes candidates with experience in gymnastics, youth sports, early childhood education, or related fields who enjoy helping children learn, grow, and gain confidence through movement.

You will lead classes, foster a developmentally appropriate learning environment, and build strong relationships with families while ensuring a safe and welcoming gym.

Qualifications

• Experience in gymnastics, cheer, dance, youth athletics, early childhood education, or a related field.
• Understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching techniques.
• Ability to connect with children and create a positive learning environment.
• Strong leadership skills or a desire to grow into a leadership role.
• Excellent communication, organization, and reliability.

Responsibilities

This role is ideal for someone with experience in gymnastics, youth sports, early childhood education, child development, or a related field who loves helping children learn, grow, and gain confidence through movement.

What You'll Do

The Details

• Full-time position
• Health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits
• Must be available at least two weekday evenings and Saturdays
• Ability to lead active classes and lift up to 40 lbs.
