Job summary

Watermelon Swim is seeking a child-focused leader to shape the future of our gymnastics program in Brooksville. This full-time role welcomes candidates with experience in gymnastics, youth sports, early childhood education, or related fields who enjoy helping children learn, grow, and gain confidence through movement.

You will lead classes, foster a developmentally appropriate learning environment, and build strong relationships with families while ensuring a safe and welcoming gym.

Qualifications

• Experience in gymnastics, cheer, dance, youth athletics, early childhood education, or a related field.
• Understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching techniques.
• Ability to connect with children and create a positive learning environment.
• Strong leadership skills or a desire to grow into a leadership role.
• Excellent communication, organization, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging gymnastics classes for children of varying ages and skill levels.
• Create a fun, positive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Build relationships with families and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming gym environment.
• Support program growth through events, birthday parties, and community engagement.
• Help develop coaches and maintain program quality and consistency.
