City of Evanston is seeking a Gymnastics and Dance Program Coordinator to oversee gymnastics, dance, cheer, and tumbling programs at Chandler-Newberger and Prieto Community Centers, with responsibilities across youth programming and camps.

The role requires coordinating staff, developing lesson plans, managing registrations and vendor contracts, and supporting program marketing and budgets. Located in Evanston with evening/weekend hours. Salary is hourly and commensurate with qualifications.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred or three+ years of programming experience in parks and recreation.
• CPRP certification preferred.
• Background in gymnastics, dance, and cheer preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• First Aid/CPR certifications required or ability to obtain within six months.
• USAG Membership or ability to obtain within 2 months.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee gymnastics, dance, cheer, and tumbling programs.
• Train, schedule, evaluate and discharge staff as needed.
• Manage contracts with recreation vendors and recruit independent contractors.
• Develop program guides, schedules, and handbooks; distribute communications.
• Prepare budgets and revenue/expense tracking for programs.
