Job summary

Club4 Fitness in Memphis, TN seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead daily gym operations, drive membership sales, and mentor staff. This full-time, non-exempt role offers monthly bonuses, solid benefits, and a focus on customer experience and community partnerships.

You will support the General Manager in achieving financial and customer-satisfaction goals, oversee staffing, deposits, and compliance, and coordinate with regional management to ensure club success.

Qualifications

• Hard working, goal oriented, enthusiastic and energetic.
• Strong sales background helpful; responsible for overall sales numbers at the location.
• Superior customer service skills, preferably in fitness.
• Must be able to travel to other clubs as needed.
• New staff coaching and development duties may be required.

Responsibilities

• Sales duties include making phone calls to prospective members.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members, guests and prospective members.
• Support staff growth and development.
• Collaborate with GM and Regional Manager to resolve issues in a timely, respectful manner.
• Promote a superior customer experience within the Club.
• Promote CLUB4 Fitness within local communities.
• Manage deposits, payroll, and scheduling; ensure adequate staffing.
• Keep facility clean and pass inspections.
• Oversee operations in GM absence and partner with MOD on communication.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
