Job summary

D1 Training is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead daily gym operations, oversee staff, and ensure an exceptional member experience. You will work closely with the General Manager to maintain high standards and drive business success.

The role focuses on operational leadership, customer service, and sales support, with opportunities for growth within a dynamic athletic facility. On-site position with a base salary plus commissions and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a supervisory or management role, preferably in fitness or hospitality.
• Experience in customer service, sales, and team management is highly desirable.
• Background in fitness training, health club management, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily gym operations to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
• Supervise and support gym staff, including trainers, instructors, and front desk personnel.
• Address member needs and concerns to ensure a positive experience and high retention.
• Assist in achieving membership sales goals, conduct tours, promote packages, and support lead generation.
• Assist in budgeting and financial oversight, including payroll, expenses, and inventory control.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and safety protocols are practiced.
• Maintain clear communication with GM and prepare performance reports for senior management.
