Job summary

Gold's Gym Round Rock is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager who loves fitness and the lifestyle around it. You will partner with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, including hiring, training, developing, and engaging team members and members.

In this role you’ll optimize member experience, manage fitness teams, ensure safety and quality, and drive profitability through strong leadership, scheduling, and coaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in fitness or hospitality.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
• Strong understanding of operations, budgeting, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee club operations alongside the General Manager to optimize daily profitability and member experience.
• Hire, train, develop, and mentor gym staff, trainers, and instructors.
• Engage with members on the floor, greet guests, and address fitness needs.
• Manage scheduling, certifications, and evaluations of fitness teams.
• Promote the gym’s brand and maintain safety, cleanliness, and high service standards.
