Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run a high-energy gym in Renton. You will lead staff, ensure a welcoming member experience, and manage day-to-day operations to support a judgment-free environment.

The role requires strong leadership, reliable performance, and a commitment to service. You will be required to work a full-time schedule including some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others and delivering excellent service.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Previous management experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gym operations to ensure a superior member experience and club profitability.
• Lead staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and development.
• Maintain welcoming atmosphere and high customer service standards for members and guests.
• Oversee front desk activities including sign-ups, tours, and check-ins.
• Monitor cleanliness, supplies, and facility maintenance; track statistics.
