Job summary

EōS Fitness is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Service team and drive operational excellence across the gym. The role reports to the District Operations Manager and covers customer service, revenue goals, retail, memberships, and brand standards.

You will hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff; communicate goals; and maintain safety, cleanliness, and facility readiness while collaborating with sales, fitness, facilities and marketing teams to enhance overall gym performance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of operations management experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• 3-4 years of customer service experience.
• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and train the Service team to create a fun atmosphere, be great hosts, and be the hub for information for members, guests, and staff.
• Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members, including kids club, front desk, and janitorial staff.
• Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff members; ensure roles are understood.
• Provide constructive feedback to staff on performance with clear language.
• Ensure high-quality customer service by addressing member concerns and inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain proper certifications.
• Supervise facility maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and common areas.
• Partner with Sales, Fitness, Facilities and Marketing to improve gym performance.
• Monitor and order inventory such as fitness equipment and supplies.
• Communicate calmly with staff and members during emergencies.
