Job summary

Planet Fitness in Watertown, MA is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee daily gym operations and deliver a judgment-free, welcoming experience while driving club performance and member satisfaction.

You will lead recruitment, training and development of a high-performing team, manage front desk activities, achieve sales goals through member sign-ups and tours, ensure cleanliness, safety and quality service, and support the Club Manager on a broad range of duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service
• Previous management experience preferred
• Current CPR Certification preferred
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and club targets.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high-performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and customer service standards for members and guests.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and supervise staff.
• Schedule and supervise staff; oversee front desk operations.
• Oversee member service and resolve issues.
• Assist in facility cleanliness and maintenance and supplies.
• Track weekly/monthly/annual statistics and reports.
