Job summary

Planet Fitness in Seattle is seeking a General Manager to oversee day‑to‑day club operations, guided by our brand promise and policies. You will supervise the front desk, maintenance, and fitness staff, ensuring outstanding member experiences and financial performance.

The GM reports to the Regional Manager and develops talent for future leadership roles. A bachelor’s degree and prior management or fitness industry experience are preferred, with MS Office proficiency and a commitment to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• NASM or ACE certifications preferred.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Customer service, sales and gym/fitness experience preferred; Microsoft Office knowledge desired.

Responsibilities

• Promote brand values and run the gym according to policies and procedures.
• Oversee daily club operations and ensure opening/closing as required.
• Supervise front desk, maintenance, and fitness staff; manage staffing and performance.
• Manage payroll, revenues, expenses and club finances; monitor key metrics.
• Support marketing efforts and member relations; assist in club development and succession planning.
