Job summary

Planet Fitness in Burlington, WA seeks a General Manager to lead daily club operations, supervise the team, and drive member satisfaction. You will oversee front desk, maintenance and fitness staff, while ensuring policy compliance and safety. Reports to the Regional Manager and develops succession for regional leadership.

The GM role emphasizes leadership, budget accountability, sales and service quality, with growth opportunities and a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• NASM or ACE certification preferred.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Customer service, sales and gym/fitness experience preferred.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gym operations and adherence to policies.
• Supervise Assistant GM and front desk, maintenance and staff.
• Ensure club cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
• Manage finances: revenues, expenses, payroll, EBITDA and margins.
• Lead marketing efforts and local advertising.
• Hire, coach and schedule staff; conduct evaluations.
