Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily club operations in San Francisco, ensuring top service, cleanliness, and performance. You will supervise the Assistant GM and front desk, fitness staff, and maintenance teams to meet club goals.

The role requires strong leadership, operations, and financial control, along with developing staff and supporting the Regional Manager. This position emphasizes growth and service excellence within a Judgement Free Zone environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• NASM/ACE certifications preferred.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Customer service/sales/gym experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gym operations according to policy and procedures.
• Hire, coach and train staff; schedule to cover operational needs.
• Manage financials including revenue, payroll and expenses.
• Lead marketing efforts and external/internal advertising.
• Conduct regular employee evaluations and maintain records.
