Job summary

VASA Fitness is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our clubs safe, functional, and welcoming for members. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and manage repairs with CMMS tooling.

The role offers hands-on opportunities across facilities, equipment, and safety compliance in a fast-paced gym environment. We provide on-the-job training, competitive hourly pay, and a monthly $80 phone reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience preferred, but training considered.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Experience with CMMS / maintenance management software and basic project tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on club equipment and building systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests quickly to minimize downtime and disruption.
• Maintain cardio, strength, and general workout equipment in safe condition.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Document work completed, parts used, and repairs in CMMS system.
• Take ownership of general facility upkeep and coordinate with vendors as needed.
