Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking a General Manager to drive membership growth, revenue and club performance. You will lead a high-performing team, set clear objectives, coach staff, and build a welcoming, community-focused environment that motivates members to achieve their fitness goals.

Responsibilities include sales strategy, operations oversight, budgeting, safety, and community outreach, with a schedule that aligns to peak hours.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of management experience in retail/hospitality/fitness.
• 2-4 years of progressive management supervising 3-10+ employees.
• Strong service culture and excellent communication skills.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to drive membership sales, fitness, retail, and revenue streams.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team with shared goals.
• Provide coaching and leadership, set clear objectives and delegate responsibilities.
• Build relationships with members and create a welcoming, community-focused environment.
• Oversee day-to-day club operations, including facilities and cleanliness.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and maximize profitability while following policies.
• Implement safety protocols to ensure wellbeing of members and staff.
• Represent the club at events and lead outreach to attract new members.
• Develop and execute member retention programs and engagement initiatives.
