Job summary

Gold's Gym DC Metro in Reston, VA is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations and drive dues, revenue and profit budgets. You will hire, train and supervise gym staff while delivering a friendly member experience and maintaining high standards of service.

This full-time exempt senior management role requires at least three years of related management experience, strong sales and customer service skills, and a business or related degree.

Qualifications

• Three years of related management experience.
• Understanding of performance metrics including P&L, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, labor management and facilities maintenance.
• Strong sales and customer service skills with proven results.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver a clean, friendly member and team experience.
• Lead the gym's top and bottom line P&L.
• Drive total fitness experience for all members.
• Oversee sales, fitness and gym operations.
• Manage sales process and systems.
• Hire, train and schedule gym staff.
• Ensure facility is clean and operational.
• Plan monthly events to drive member engagement.
• Maintain compliance across the gym
