Job summary

Gold's Gym is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, drive membership growth, and oversee staff performance across our Greer location. You will ensure exceptional member experiences, financial accountability, and adherence to standards while shaping a results-driven culture.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and strategic execution with a focus on revenue, retention, and operational excellence in a dynamic gym environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field with two years of management experience preferred.
• Current CPR Certification
• Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience preferred
• Fitness industry experience preferred but not required.
• Be promotionally-oriented and have the ability to direct sales through company required outreach programs.
• Strong customer service orientation with proven results.
• Understanding of performance metrics including P&L, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn new data systems as required
• Ability to train and develop employees on a variety of company systems and procedures
• Requires the ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
