Job summary

Gold's Gym Washington in Portland, OR is seeking a part-time, hourly Service Motivator to greet members, guide guests toward memberships, and set a positive tone on every shift. We provide full training, and many managers began their careers in this role.

Responsibilities include front desk check-in, tours, enrollments, and promoting club services, with opportunities to progress into management. CPR/AED certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled.
• CPR/AED certification within 30 days of employment or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Greet members by first name and welcome guests with a smile.
• Manage front desk check-in and security.
• Make every member and guest experience memorable.
• Answer phone calls and questions about the club and services.
• Lead tours and help guests choose memberships that fit their goals.
• Enroll new members and promote personal training and other club services.
• Follow up with guests after their visits.
• Complete shift procedures and handoffs.
• Process retail and membership transactions.
• Assist members with billing questions, escalating issues to management as needed.
• Log maintenance needs and report safety concerns or incidents.
