Job summary

VASA Fitness in Utah is seeking a Maintenance Technician who takes pride in hands-on problem solving to keep our clubs safe, functional, and welcoming for members daily.

You'll perform preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and respond to work orders using a CMMS. Collaboration with club leadership is essential as you own repairs and help sustain reliable operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1--2 years of maintenance experience preferred, but training available.
• Experience with CMMS/maintenance software (MaintainX or similar).
• Basic computer skills to track work orders and access repair guides.
• Valid driver's license; mileage reimbursements may apply.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Clear communication with leadership and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing of equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests to minimize downtime and disruption.
• Maintain cardio and strength equipment in safe working order.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Document work completed and parts used in the CMMS system.
• Support general facility upkeep and collaborate with management.
