Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform day-to-day service and maintenance on cardio and strength equipment across assigned clubs, ensuring a clean and safe member experience.

Responsibilities include repairs, preventative maintenance walkthroughs, helpdesk coordination, reporting, and supporting project work; valid driver's license and basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of mechanical and electrical service experience.
• Experience in a fitness club is preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Repair out-of-order cardio/strength equipment as requested and obtain sign-off.
• Communicate daily with Facilities Manager about progress and obstacles.
• Manage the helpdesk ticketing system for assigned clubs.
• Perform preventative maintenance walk-throughs and document findings.
• Maintain and update work schedules using Outlook.
• Assist with construction, presales, re-equips and installations as needed.
• Maintain company vehicle inventory and cleanliness.
