Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Club Manager to oversee gym operations, ensure a positive member experience, and drive financial success of the club. You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, manage front desk activities, uphold brand standards, and coordinate promotions under the District Manager.

This full-time supervisory role requires strong customer service, leadership, and organizational skills to keep the club open, staffed, and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Honesty and good work ethic.
• At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Oversee member service to ensure excellent customer experiences.
• Handle front desk tasks: greetings, tours, and member questions.
• Provide support for team members and club members.
• Maintain a positive image for the club.
• Coach and counsel performance to meet standards.
• Ensure timely opening/closing of the gym.
• Train staff on current marketing promotions.
• Complete onboarding for new hires in Paycom.
• Ensure club is open and staffed during all hours.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Order supplies and track inventory.
