Job summary

EōS Fitness in Phoenix seeks an Assistant General Manager for a new gym opening. You will lead the sales team, drive membership sales, oversee billing, and ensure top-tier member service while maintaining a safe, clean facility.

Ideal candidates have customer service and sales experience with supervisory exposure, strong communication skills, and a passion for fitness. This hourly role includes benefits and growth opportunities within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience.
• 3–4 years of sales experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions.
• Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sales team to meet targets, especially during weekends or when the GM is absent.
• Sell club memberships, individual memberships, fitness services, products, and programs to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Oversee membership billing processes, monitor the sales process, and ensure timely follow-up with leads and prospects.
• Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff clearly.
• Supervise facility maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain certifications.
• Address member concerns promptly to deliver high-quality customer service.
• Engage with members in a friendly, attentive manner to understand needs and provide clear responses.
• Communicate calmly with staff and members during emergencies or disruptions.
