Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking an Instrument Service Coordinator to act as the in-lab host for third‑party instrument service activities at our King of Prussia site. You will coordinate vendors, manage scheduling, and ensure GxP/GMP compliance with timely logbook/ELN entries and documentation, while performing routine calibrations and basic troubleshooting.

You will support frontline triage, equipment readiness tasks, and cross‑functional communications to minimize downtime and keep operations compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in a GxP/GMP lab, quality, or instrument service environment.
• Associate’s degree with 5+ years hands-on instrument operations, quality/compliance, or service experience.
• High School Diploma with 7+ years in a GxP/GMP-regulated lab, including vendor coordination and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as in-lab host for third-party instrument service activities and coordinate with vendors.
• Coordinate scheduling across workflows and stakeholders to minimize downtime.
• Enforce GxP/GMP compliance with contemporaneous logbook/ELN entries and documentation.
• Provide frontline triage and basic instrument calibration to reduce vendor dispatch.
• Support continuity, administration, and process improvements for the service coordination model.
