Franklin Biolabs is seeking a Laboratory Equipment Engineer II to design, integrate, qualify, maintain and manage lifecycle of GxP lab equipment and supporting systems. You will work with scientists, quality, facilities and IT to ensure reliable and compliant operation in a fast-paced CRO environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 2+ years of industrial experience, with on-site work in King of Prussia, PA. Weekend support and on-call rotation may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2+ years of relevant industrial experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with CMMS or asset management systems is preferred.
• Ability to forecast issues and problem-solve with supervision from senior staff.
• Strong documentation practices and attention to detail.
• Experience in regulated environments (USDA, OLAW, FDA, AAALAC) is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design, integration, qualification, maintenance and lifecycle management of GxP analytical and vivarium laboratory equipment and supporting systems.
• Author deviation investigations, change controls and equipment functional tests as needed.
• Review facility designs to support new equipment or processes.
• Ensure instruments and infrastructure operate reliably, safely, and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Collaborate with scientists, quality, facilities and IT to support efficient lab operations and continuous improvement.
• Participate in on-site operations with potential weekend support and on-call rotations as required.
