Job summary

Jet Linx Aviation seeks a Gulfstream GV Second in Command to support safe, efficient heavy-jet operations out of Teterboro. You’ll fly premier missions under Part 91 and Part 135, collaborating with a professional flight department and upholding our core values on every leg.

To qualify, you must have 2,500 hours total time (500 PIC, 500 multi-engine, 100 turbine, 150 instrument), an unrestricted ATP, First-Class Medical, and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Flight time: 2,500 hours total; 500 PIC; 500 multi-engine; 100 turbine; 150 instrument.
• Unrestricted ATP certificate and First-Class Medical.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operations require.
• FAA Drug testing and Records review compliance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute Gulfstream GV missions per FARs and company procedures with safety and compliance.
• Manage duty, flight, and rest requirements per policy and CFR guidelines.
• Coordinate with Scheduling and Base team for standby, trip notifications, and pre/post-flight reports.
• Own EFB readiness—hardware, apps, and data integrity.
• Keep navigation charts, publications, and manuals current and mission-ready.
• Demonstrate time-critical decision-making and represent Jet Linx values with clients and crew.

The Opportunity

Jet Linx Aviation is hiring a Gulfstream GV Second in Command to support safe, efficient, and service-forward heavy-jet operations out of Teterboro. You’ll fly premier missions under Part 91 and Part 135, collaborate closely with a professional flight department, and represent our core values on every leg.

What You’ll Do

• Execute GV missions in accordance with FARs and company procedures, ensuring uncompromising safety and compliance.
• Manage duty, flight, and rest requirements under company policy and CFR guidelines.
• Coordinate proactively with Scheduling and the Base team for standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and all pre/post-flight reports.
• Own your EFB readiness - hardware, apps, and data integrity.
• Keep navigation charts, publications, and company manuals current and mission-ready.
• Demonstrate sound, time-critical decision-making and represent Jet Linx values with clients, crew, and partners.
• Operate in and around aircraft/terminals and handle items up to 50 lbs as needed.

What You’ll Bring

• Flight time: 2,500 hours total time; 500 hours PIC; 500 hours multi-engine; 100 hours turbine; 150 hours instrument.
• Certificates: Unrestricted ATP, First-Class Medical, FCC Restricted Radio License, valid passport.
• Work/Travel: Eligible to work in the U.S.; able to obtain a U.S. driver’s license; unrestricted travel to EU, Canada, and Caribbean.
• Compliance: Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing; successful FAA Pilot Records Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
• Schedule: Willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operations require.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
• Location: Reside in or relocate to the Teterboro area to meet a two-hour call-out.

• Base Salary: $135,000 - $170,000 annually (dependent on location, aircraft size, education, training, and experience).
