Job summary

Guidewire ClaimCenter professionals are needed for a 17-month plus extension role at our client site in Cumming, TX. The candidate will lead development and integration for ClaimCenter, coordinate onsite and offshore teams, and spend significant time in CC development for releases.

Responsibilities include resolving production incidents, configuring applications, and collaborating with 3rd party services. Prior Guidewire leadership and strong Java skills are required.

Qualifications

• Guidewire ClaimCenter experience with implantation and integration.
• Experience with Commercial Insurance CA WC GL.
• Creating new data model elements and extending the existing data model.
• Managing application configuration and performing upgrades.
• Experience with SQL Server or DB2 database.
• Web servers such as WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, or JBOSS.

Responsibilities

• Develop integration solutions with 3rd party services for ClaimCenter.
• Provide technical leadership to junior Guidewire associates.
• Coordinate onsite client and offshore teams to meet business needs and communicate feasibility to offshore.
• Invest 40% of time for ClaimCenter development for releases.

• Coordinate with service providers to keep applications up and running.

Responsibilities

• Ability to develop integration solutions with 3rd party integration survives for ClaimCenter
• Ability to provide technical leadership to junior Guidewire associates regarding Guidewire development and support
• Work at Onsite Client Location to understand the exact Client Business Needs check the technical Feasibility to achieve the requirements and then communicating the same to Offshore there by making Offshore to produce quality deliverables expected by client
• Hands on experience to invest 40 of time for CC development work for release
• Onsite Offshore Coordination for resolving production Incidents
• Managing and communicating team status to Onsite Management
• Technical support for Guidewire ClaimCenter in production
• Coordinating with team to analyze defects
• Coordinate with other service provider and integration owners to make sure the applications are up and running

Technical Skills

• Guidewire ClaimCenter experience for implantation and integration with 3rd party services
• Experience with creating new products within ClaimCenter knowledge of Commercial Insurance CA WC GL is required
• Creating new data model elements and extending the existing applications data model with new properties
• Managing application configuration and performing minor or major software upgrades
• Establish and execute traceable unit and integration tests automated as to be agreed Experience working with SQL Server or DB2 database
• Application Servers such as Web sphere Apache Tomcat or JBOSS J2EE application containers

Good To Have Skills

• Web services i.e., WSDL SOAP XML REST
• Certified Guidewire ClaimCenter professional
• 3 to 4 Years of experience in Java programming Strong skills in Java programming
• Experience with REST web services is a plus
• Experience with various code versioning systems such as SVN
• Ability to multitask and switch context to changing priorities in a highly dynamic environment
• Experience in working with customer directly is a plus
• Proficient in written and spoken English
