Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC seeks an experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter developer to implement integration solutions with third-party services and support production systems.

You will lead junior Guidewire associates, coordinate onsite with clients and offshore teams, and ensure timely releases. Strong Java and database skills, plus knowledge of ClaimCenter data models and application servers, are required for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter deployment and integration with third-party services.
• Knowledge of Commercial Insurance CA WC GL.
• Experience with data model extensions in ClaimCenter.
• Experience with SQL Server or DB2 databases.
• Experience with WebSphere/Apache Tomcat/JBoss servers.

Responsibilities

• Develop integration solutions with 3rd party services and ClaimCenter.
• Provide technical leadership to junior Guidewire associates.
• Work onsite with client to understand needs and communicate to offshore teams.
• Invest around 40% of time on ClaimCenter development for releases.
• Coordinate onsite-offshore to resolve production incidents.
• Manage and communicate team status to onsite management.
• Provide technical support for Guidewire ClaimCenter in production.
• Coordinate with team to analyze defects.
• Coordinate with other service providers to keep applications up and running.

• Ability to develop integration solutions with 3rd party integration survives for ClaimCenter
• Ability to provide technical leadership to junior Guidewire associates regarding Guidewire development and support
• Work at Onsite Client Location to understand the exact Client Business Needs check the technical Feasibility to achieve the requirements and then communicating the same to Offshore there by making Offshore to produce quality deliverables expected by client
• Hands on experience to invest 40 of time for CC development work for release
• Onsite Offshore Coordination for resolving production Incidents
• Managing and communicating team status to Onsite Management
• Technical support for Guidewire ClaimCenter in production
• Coordinating with team to analyze defects
• Coordinate with other service provider and integration owners to make sure the applications are up and running

Technical Skills

• Guidewire ClaimCenter experience for implantation and integration with 3rd party services
• Experience with creating new products within ClaimCenter knowledge of Commercial Insurance CA WC GL is required
• Creating new data model elements and extending the existing applications data model with new properties
• Managing application configuration and performing minor or major software upgrades
• Establish and execute traceable unit and integration tests automated as to be agreed Experience working with SQL Server or DB2 database
• Application Servers such as Web sphere Apache Tomcat or JBOSS J2EE application containers

Good to Have Skills

• Web services i.e., WSDL SOAP XML REST
• Certified Guidewire ClaimCenter professional
• 3 to 4 Years of experience in Java programming Strong skills in Java programming
• Experience with REST web services is a plus
• Experience with various code versioning systems such as SVN
• Ability to multitask and switch context to changing priorities in a highly dynamic environment
• Experience in working with customer directly is a plus
• Proficient in written and spoken English
