Job summary

Fairfield by Marriott in Rapid City, SD, is seeking a dedicated hotel housekeeper. You will clean guest rooms to brand standards, respond to guest needs in a friendly manner, and uphold hygiene across the property. The role requires flexibility for weekends/holidays and a professional appearance at all times.

Experience in housekeeping is a plus, but not required. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to use cleaning supplies and lift loads as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is a plus, but is not required.
• Must be flexible (weekends and holidays), and be a team player.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Attention to detail and ability meet high standards of room cleanliness.
• Must be able to properly use cleaning supplies and chemicals.
• Must be 16 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Cleans guest rooms in accordance with established company, brand or hotel standards to allow a sufficient quantity of vacant and clean rooms.
• Responds to the needs of guests and coworkers in a friendly, positive manner.
• Within guidelines established by the hotel or management company, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards for the property.
• Responsible for carrying out special requests from guests in a timely manner, such as extra towels, replacing faulty equipment, etc.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
