Job summary

Bally's Shreveport Casino & Hotel seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee Guest Room Attendants and House Attendants, assign work, monitor progress, and ensure timely cleaning of guest rooms and corridors.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to handle guest requests. Weekend, holiday and night work may be required; compensation is $17.00/hr with standard hotel benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/training considered a plus.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in hotel operations preferred.
• Must possess computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and good written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure efficiency of Guest Room Attendants and House Attendants; assign shifts and monitor progress.
• Ensure all floors, closets and carts are cleaned before end of shift and inventories are conducted.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly; train staff as needed.
• Inspect and stock linens and supplies; manage safety and compliance with policies.
• Coordinate maintenance through Office Coordinator and ensure proper completion of tasks.
