Job summary

Bally’s in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead Guest Room Attendants and House Attendants, ensure cleanliness and readiness of rooms and floors, and coordinate with maintenance and inventory tasks. You will train staff, monitor safety, and ensure exceptional guest service.

The role requires supervisory experience in hotel operations, strong communication skills, and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced, indoor environment. Weekend/night shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or equivalent work experience required.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in hotel operations preferred.
• Must possess computer proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess good customer service and leadership skills.
• Must be able to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and ensures efficiency of Guest Room Attendants and House Attendants; issues work assignments and monitors progress.
• Ensures all guest rooms, corridors, closets and carts are cleaned before end of shift.
• Submit work orders for maintenance issues and assist with inventories.
• Train and develop staff; enforce safety and company policies; conduct evaluations.
• Inspect departures, ready rooms, and VIP arrivals prior to guest check-in, ensuring readiness of service areas.
• Maintain par stock levels and supply deliveries; coordinate with other departments as needed.
