Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel in Mobile, AL is seeking a Room Inspector to supervise housekeeping quality and ensure guest rooms meet standards. You will inspect rooms, report issues, and train staff to uphold cleanliness and readiness.

This role emphasizes leadership, attention to detail, and timely readiness of rooms; you will collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager and respond to guest inquiries to ensure memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot checks in guest rooms and hallways to ensure cleanliness.
• Inspect rooms completed by Housekeeping to verify proper supplies and cleanliness.
• Provide immediate status updates for inspected rooms and maintain room readiness.
• Ensure all assigned rooms are inspected and ready for guests by end of shift.
• Train and develop Housekeepers in your division with guidance and feedback.
• Respond to guest inquiries and complaints related to housekeeping services.
• Report maintenance problems and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping Manager to track and report inspection results.
• Secure and return lost and found items with proper documentation.
• Assist Houseperson in maintaining floor linen rooms and supplies.
• Conduct two formal room inspections per Housekeeper per day.
• Report uncompleted rooms at shift end to supervisor.
