Highgate Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector/Inspectress for the Courtyard Dayton in Dayton, OH. The role oversees cleaning of guestrooms and ensures rooms meet standards in a timely manner, coordinating with Housekeeping and Guest Services to maintain guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, may have college coursework, and has prior supervisory experience. Strong communication, multitasking, and attendance are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.
• Must communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Must multitask and prioritize departmental functions.
• Maintain regular attendance per hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rooms daily to ensure standards and productivity.
• Notify Room Attendants of deficiencies and re-inspect after corrections.
• Maintain records of daily assignments and sign off daily.
• Oversee payments of key control and supervision of Laundry employees when applicable.
• Coordinate with Guest Services regarding room discrepancies and VIPs.
• Oversee training of Room Attendants and maintenance of cleaning schedules.
• Support housekeeping management in standard weekly planning.
