Job summary

Omhjvc Llc in Tampa, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service guest rooms, public areas, and grounds. The role involves preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and responding to maintenance requests to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of hospitality maintenance experience and solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality.
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., use hand and power tools, and work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel grounds.
Complete preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems.
Perform plumbing work, including repairing or replacing faucets, toilets, sinks, drains, pipes, and fixing leaks.
Repair drywall, paint, doors, locks, flooring, lighting fixtures, and furniture as needed.
Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
Maintain pool equipment (if applicable) and coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs.
Keep maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of tools and supplies.
Follow OSHA and hotel safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
