Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Montgomeryville, PA seeks a Room Attendant to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms while delivering attentive and courteous service to all guests. The role requires physical stamina and reliable communication with team members and guests.

Responsibilities include cleaning guestrooms to standards, restocking carts, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site housekeeping position offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items from rooms (e.g., irons/boards, hair dryers) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for Lost and Found per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
