Highgate Hotels in Roswell, NM seeks a Room Attendant to maintain clean guestrooms and provide attentive service to guests. This position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for the full shift, and strong communication with guests and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective communication with guests and colleagues in a courteous, service-oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies and linen.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
