Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean, attractive guestrooms and deliver attentive, courteous service to guests. You will thoroughly clean guestrooms, complete pre-cleaning duties, restock carts, and report maintenance issues to supervisors.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong written and verbal communication. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; hotel or related field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for Lost and Found according to standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
