Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's Embassy Suites by Hilton Boston Marlborough is seeking a dependable Van Driver / Banquet Setup Attendant to join our hotel team. This role safely transports guests to destinations and assists with the setup, breakdown, and maintenance of banquet and meeting spaces to ensure flawless events.

The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, able to work independently, and committed to delivering excellent service. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Previous hotel, banquet, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move tables, chairs, and other banquet equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and flexible.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
• Safely transport hotel guests to and from approved destinations.
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests throughout their transportation experience.
• Perform basic vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Keep the hotel van clean and presentable.
• Follow all hotel policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
• Set up meeting and banquet rooms according to event specifications.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment as needed.
• Assist with moving and positioning tables, chairs, and banquet equipment.
• Prepare meeting rooms prior to events and assist with breakdown after events.
• Keep banquet areas, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized.
• Assist the banquet team with additional tasks as needed.
• Respond to guest and event needs in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with the hotel team to ensure meeting and event spaces are ready for guests.
