Job summary

Riverbanks Zoo & Garden in Georgia is seeking Transportation Operators to monitor and operate our Saluda Skyride Gondola and Tram Service. You’ll help transport guests safely while serving as the eyes and ears for safety.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, enforcing safety policies, providing exceptional guest service, assisting with boarding and disembarking, and adapting to shutdowns by switching to the tram shuttle.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid SC driver’s license.
• Prior guest service experience is preferred, as it will help set you up for success in this role.
• Good decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• The role requires physical capabilities, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., works outdoors and at heights, in various weather conditions, and stands for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document pre-shift inspections of Saluda Skyride and/or Riverbanks’ Tram Shuttle, including equipment, safety systems, and emergency procedures.
