Job summary

Interfaith Works in Olympia, Washington is seeking a Navigator-Guest Support to assist shelter guests with goal setting, service coordination, and advocacy.

The role involves meeting participants where they are, coordinating daily living services, income supports, and transportation, with a focus on social inclusion. 30–35 hours weekly, Mon–Fri 9am–5pm, $23.50/hr plus $0.50/hr CPSS bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct service and community work.
• Ability to follow through with job commitments.
• Understanding of homeless population and social services.
• CPSS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Meet participants at Unity Commons Shelter and help set goals.
• Coordinate daily living, transportation, housing, and health services.
• Assist with income supports: housing, food stamps, disability benefits.
• Advocate against stigma and discrimination, provide emotional support.
