Job summary

Interfaith Works seeks a Navigator-Guest Support for its Olympia shelter program. This part-time role (35 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.) pays $23.50 per hour, plus a $0.50 hourly bonus upon CPSS verification.

Duties include meeting guests, coordinating daily living services, and advocating for access to resources while maintaining confidentiality. The Navigator team provides case management, peer support, and cultural sensitivity to help single adults navigate services and achieve

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and in multicultural settings.
• Must be flexible with hours and demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced shelter environment.
• Preferred CPSS certification and ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Meet with participants at Unity Commons Shelter to help identify goals.
• Coordinate services related to daily living, finances, transportation, housing, and health services.
• Assist with income support programs including housing, food assistance, and benefits.
• Advocate for participants to address stigma and access needed resources.
