Job summary

Missouri Botanical Garden is seeking a part-time Guest Services Associate to welcome guests, sell admission tickets, handle payments, and provide information by phone or in person. You will help ensure a positive visitor experience and support garden programs in the evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include processing tickets with POS or web orders, issuing and transferring gift cards, answering inquiries, and assisting with tram tours.

Qualifications

• Must pass background screening and MVR.
• Experience working with the public is beneficial.
• Ability to communicate with the public by phone and in person.
• Able to lift 30-60 pounds.
• Able to work outdoors and indoors in varying temperatures.
• Available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process ticket purchases using a POS system or web orders.
• Issue, void, or transfer balance to MBG gift cards.
• Provide Garden information to all visitors.
• Respond to guest inquiries via phone and email.
• Drive and narrate tram tours as needed.
• Authorize and perform ticket refunds and exchanges.
• Investigate and troubleshoot ticketing issues.
