Job summary

Sheraton Music City is seeking a hospitality-focused server to deliver outstanding guest experiences in our hotel restaurant. You will operate the point-of-sale system, maintain clean dining areas, and support event service with a proactive and friendly approach.

Responsibilities include supervising service flow, assisting the restaurant team on side-work, and ensuring compliance with liquor laws. Competitive benefits, meal perks, and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to use point of sale.
• Ability to lift/carry weight up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to push/pull carts of products weighing up to 150 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as supervisors, coworkers, public, etc.

Responsibilities

• Monitor servers and busperson adherence to service standards.
• Supervise service of guests and respond to guest needs.
• Assist manager to establish and monitor sidework duty completion.
• Maintain bank to HEI Hotels and Resorts standards.
• Read daily shift communications and prepare for the next shift.
• Check floor plan for coverage; ensure restaurant cleanliness and setup.
• Abide by liquor requirements for serving alcohol.
• Communicate with the restaurant manager about events and house counts.
• Provide clear direction to staff in writing and verbally.
• Be available to work regularly and perform other duties as assigned.
