Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality at Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown is hiring a Server for full-time PM shifts. You will greet guests, take orders, serve with style, and ensure a spotless service area while following safety guidelines.

You’ll engage with guests, know menu details, handle tables and payments, and stay energized during busy periods. A friendly, professional demeanor and reliable teamwork are essential; prior hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality or food & beverage service is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests and coworkers professionally.
• Must obtain and maintain any required certifications (e.g., Alcohol Awareness, Food Handler’s Card) as per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take accurate orders to ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Know the menu inside and out — ingredients, dietary needs, daily specials and service guidelines.
• Deliver food and drinks quickly and accurately with attention to detail.
• Handle multiple tables with composure, keeping spaces clean and service seamless.
• Process transactions and close checks following company and security protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the service area and comply with hygiene standards.
• Stay energized and professional during busy shifts and support team members as needed.
