Job summary

City of Aspen seeks a Recreation Supervisor – Guest Services to lead the Guest Services team across recreation facilities, manage front desk operations, memberships, and retail aspects, and serve as Supervisor on Duty (MOD).

The role supports daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and safety, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patrons and collaboration with the Recreation Department.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in recreation, guest services, customer service operations, facility operations, or related field with lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Guest Services staff and scheduling for all recreation facilities.
• Ensure safe, welcoming experiences and handle customer service needs.
• Oversee front desk operations, memberships, retail sales, and patron account management.
• Staff hiring and training of seasonal, temporary, and intermittent personnel.
• Maintain inventory controls and assist with program marketing and events.
