Job summary

The Florida Panthers are seeking a Supervisor on Duty for Baptist Health Iceplex in Fort Lauderdale. This part-time role provides front line supervision of the guest experience, overseeing staff, front desk operations, and public skating sessions.

You will handle guest inquiries, incident reporting, and coordination with management to ensure a first-class guest experience across all events. Equal opportunity employer; diverse team welcome.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Solid math and cash handling skills.
• Working knowledge of computers and software applications like the Microsoft suite. DaySmart or other ice arena software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the general operation of the Baptist Health IcePlex during each shift, maintaining high customer service and impressions.
• Supervises front desk operations, attendants, registrations, and phone calls routing.
• Oversees public sessions and staff like skate guards to ensure safe, fun experiences.
• Supervises drop-in activities and ensures participants are registered and rules followed.
• Completes incident reports and informs management as appropriate.
• Handles customer complaints and follows up to resolve issues.
• Maintains locker rooms and ensures keys are managed properly.
• Operates music and debriefs with staff at shift changes.
• Monitors programming, security needs, and coordinates with relevant departments.
• Keeps front office clean and updated with flyers and cards.
