Job summary

The Florida Panthers Ice Den in Coral Springs hosts public skating sessions where the Guest Service Associate monitors the ice and assists with events, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. You will also handle skate rentals, perform custodial duties, and uphold facility policies during busy weekend and Friday night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all public session skating events on and off the ice.
• Supervise skating to ensure safe operations at all times.
• Issue skates and oversee the skate rental counter during public sessions.

• Assist in ice arena upkeep, cleaning, and lobby/rental area maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service and enforce facility policies.
• Know and follow emergency procedures and evacuation plans.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Job Summary

A Guest Service Associate's primary focus is to monitor the ice during all public skating sessions to ensure a safe and fun environment for all participants. The Guest Service Associate will also assist with theme nights and other events within the facility.

• Monitor all public session skating events both on and off the ice
• Supervise skating to ensure safe operations at all times
• Issue skates and monitor the skate rental counter during public skating sessions
• Maintain and care for rental skates
• Assist in the general maintenance and upkeep of the ice arena, including sweeping, cleaning, and other custodial duties to ensure the cleanliness of the Panthers Ice Den lobby and rental areas
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all facility policies are properly implemented
• Know and follow emergency procedures for building and evacuation plans
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older; college student preferred
• Strong ice-skating skills required; must be able to skate and pass a skating test
• Effective leadership skills with a positive, team-first attitude
• Professional appearance and presentation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds
• Must be available to work Friday nights and weekends

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Must have flexible hours with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
