Job summary

Evans Hotels' Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa in San Diego seeks a Guest Services Supervisor to oversee Bell and Valet operations and support Front Office. Lead arrivals/departures, manage staffing, and ensure consistent service delivery aligned with our standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Combination of experience, education, and/or training may substitute for requirements.
• Previous similar position in a top-quality hotel, or similar business entity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily Bell and Valet operations, ensuring efficient and professional guest service.
• Monitor guest arrivals and departures and adjust staffing based on occupancy and events.
• Oversee Valet operations: vehicle flow, parking and retrieval, key/ticket control, and traffic management.
• Ensure Valet safety, security, and incident reporting procedures.
• Oversee Bell services: luggage handling, guest deliveries, transportation assistance, and arrival/departure support.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate priorities, VIP arrivals, groups, events, and updates.
• Recruit, train, coach, and mentor team members to foster a high-performing, service-oriented culture.
• Promote teamwork and engagement, align with company values and performance expectations.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence in lobby, Front Desk, valet area, and guest areas.
• Support Front Desk supervisory duties as needed, including check-in/check-out and guest requests.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally and follow up on requests.
• Review guest satisfaction scores to identify trends and training needs.
• Partner with Front Office and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
