The Appalachian Mountain Club is hiring a Front Desk Attendant in Gorham, Maine. You will represent AMC by managing front desk operations, welcoming guests, and providing superior customer service while promoting AMC’s programs.

Responsibilities include guest interactions, handling reservations, managing transactions, and assisting in various tasks at the Pinkham Notch Center. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with the public, with strong communication skills and prior hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to organizational goals.
• Proven ability to multitask without supervision.
• Reliable transportation unless living onsite.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and carry up to 30 pounds.
