Job summary

My Place Hotel in Tucson South is seeking a Guest Services Representative to ensure a seamless guest experience from reservation to check-out. You will greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, and manage charges for rooms, taxes, and amenities.

You will also assist guests with information on local attractions, manage calls and messages, and support front desk operations. This role requires strong communication, organization, and a dependable, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.

• Attention to detail in financial transactions and records.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-ins and check-outs, recording charges for rooms, taxes, and hotel purchases.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, local attractions, restaurants, and services; address guest concerns politely.
• Operate the phone system, take messages, and manage wake-up calls.
• Handle cash transactions, process card authorizations, and provide accurate change.
• Maintain front desk logs, Night Audit checklist, and report issues to the General Manager.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols; conduct rounds and ensure doors and lighting are functioning.
• Promote the Stay Rewarded Loyalty Program to guests.
• Assist with cleaning tasks, laundry, stocking supplies, and coffee bar operations; assist housekeeping when needed.
• Deliver guest supplies and manage master keys for staff.
• Assist housekeeping during peak times to support room readiness.
